I directed a videographer on how and when to shoot, while acting in the video myself. We built the shot around Collina Viola bottles in the background, with the cocktail up front and center. A muted, desaturated background gave the frame contrast, so once the color kicked in, the drink really popped against it. We went through a few takes to get the cocktail placement and the lemon drop just right before locking in the final shot.
