Rocky's River Repair is a small boat mechanic shop in Connecticut that wanted a logo with a vintage lab mascot, similar to old college branding.

I took inspiration from old college mascots, like the owner wanted, and created a walking lab wearing a crew sweater with the company's initials on it. I added a wrench to hint that the company is a mechanic shop, similar to how old college mascots often carry an object like a football or basketball to represent their school's team. Since the owner calls the company "Rocky's" for short, I made "Rocky's" the largest, boldest word in the logo and tucked the rest of name underneath.
