Longfellow is a life science real estate developer launching a national broker newsletter called "The Lens." It's meant to give a closer look at the industry from a developer's perspective. They wanted a logo transition that would connect their existing brand to the new newsletter identity.

Longfellow is a life science real estate developer launching a national broker newsletter called "The Lens." It's meant to give a closer look at the industry from a developer's perspective. They wanted a logo transition that would connect their existing brand to the new newsletter identity.

I revealed the Longfellow text within the icon itself, then broke it apart into six shapes. Those shapes morphed into an aperture icon, animated to mimic a camera shutter. The sequence closed with "LENS" appearing as if it were developing through vintage film photography.

The client loved the logo-to-logo transition. It worked well enough that it became the studio's go-to intro for future videos, and it's still in use today.
